I don’t know about the rest, I’ve heard their seafood is excellent. The gumbo was great, the chicken was horrible, I mean it was really really bad. I might try their seafood soon, but don’t go there looking for non seafood cajun food.The server was moderately attentive but polite while she was interacting with us.They need a little work, but we’ll see, the twickenham square has a ways to go in general.
Ordered via GrubSouth. I ordered the stuffed mushroom appetizer and the flounder seafood roulade with cheddar cheese grits for the side. The mushrooms were great! Light and fluffy (not greasy) and inside had a mushroom and a seafood mix. The flounder seafood roulade had the seafood mixture wrapped with the flounder with a breaded outside that was grilled. The grits were creamy. I enjoyed it all!
Not even worth the time. Service is terrible…. Never could get drunk refills, napkins, etc. Rice and beans were hard, no flavor, and tasted days old. Only thing I can say they did good right were the raw oysters on half shell (but how can you honestly mess that up?).
Took my wife out for dinner. Neither of us had any real expectations since we hadn’t been there. Wife loved the crab legs and said they were the best she’s had in Huntsvile. I had the shrimp&grits and it was delicious. The waitress, Sharon, was excellent and the food, srvice and experience overall was really good. They do have outdoor seating, but we chose to sit inside and enjoyed the atmosphere. The only thing that kept me from scoring 5.0 as the front hostess, she could have been just having a bad day, but she wasn’t very outgoing…. once we were seated we didn’t have to interact. The manager even came through and visited tables… they seem to be conscious about their business….. We will definitely be eating here again.
Enjoyed our meal. Shrimp and Grits was good. Our waitress Kayla was excellent. Took good care of our table and was outgoing and made good recommendations. Very enjoyable evening meal. Will definitely go back.
