This very Americanized fru-fru Mexican is not really my cup of tea. However, their tableside Guac is fantastic and I love the warm salsa. The drinks are really skimpy and expensive so I’d recommend just an old fashioned cerveza instead. The best part about this place (& the only reason I keep returning) is they allow dogs on their patio so I can bring my pup along!
This place is mediocre, but I like it. The chips are thin and crispy. You get a mild salsa and slightly hotter, warmed salsa and both are tasty. I order the cheese enchiladas every time I go. The beans that come with it are good but I do not recommend the rice. Bottom line, not a top rated Mexican restaurant but also not a bad place to eat while shopping at Bridgestreet.
With so many restaurants closed on Sunday in Huntsville we had trouble finding a lunch place. We decided to try Cantina Laredo located in an open air mall not expecting much. What a welcome surprise. Excellent food and service.
Awful service and overpriced food. Took my family to eat at Cantina Laredo after some Christmas shopping. Everyone was quite hungry and the last time we ate there a few months ago it was just ok, but we decided to give it anther chance. Big mistake. We ordered several different taco dishes and we were very disappointed at how poorly prepared they were. We all decided it has become very overpriced for the quality of the food. The terrible service did take our minds off the food. Our server acted as if she really did not care to be working that night. Mediocre food, poor service, lesson learned.
The guacamole and ceviche are amazing!
Corporate Luncheon. Today was the second time my office has used Cantina Laredo for a corporate luncheon. Both times were excellent. The service is impeccable: professional, friendly, and helpful. And of course the food is wonderful. The fish tacos are my favorite. Also, if you like the ceviche, but want a little more spice, ask for Cedric’s ceviche. It’s delicious!
Expensive and not great. Finally tired the Cantina but was disappointed. We were hoping for more San Antonioian style food, real Tex-Mex but it was sorely lacking. Our server was cute and attentive, the decor nice but the food was really pretty lacking. I had the fish tacos but it was just small pieces of Mahi Mahi (???) while my husband had the fatty meat things. More like a food court eating establishment.
