Really?!!. Ok, so truth be told…USED to LOVE this place. Especially when the grill was going and margaritas were flowing. I personally love their margaritas. I don’t think they use a mix, so they are very tart. As long as you get the TOP shelf, you will probably be okay. Otherwise, expect a bad, bad headache in a glass. The bar (and grill) in the front is small and quaint…great for a group of friends to just take over. They have stopped using the grill which I think is a total mistake – the shrimp skewers were the best in town! Pablano peppers cooked directly on the coals, off the hook! I think one of the biggest issues with the grill is that rarely was a grill menu provided with the regular menu – no one even knows (knew) it exists!! The rest of the menu is fine..nothing to write home about, just your average mexican food. Beware..there is a SERIOUS communication breakdown. There are probably only three employees in the whole place that can truly speak English. If you complain, you may as well forget any thing being made right..either by replacing or comping..the management just doesn’t seem to care if something was screwed up even if it was their fault..in fact they will argue with you…bad bad bad…not the way to keep customers returning IMHO. I have to share this last ‘issue’ because I just could NOT believe it. A friend joined me for a margarita…when she arrived and asked for chips, the server reached over to the left of me and grabbed MY chips (which I had on that side because I had been ill and didn’t want to share my germs!)…and put them in between us. I was dumbfounded! My friend and I looked at each other in astonishment…REALLY, HE JUST DID THAT? WOW! So again, their staff need some serious grooming in the what to/what not to do’s in the restaurant biz. Will we go back…probably, mainly for the margaritas, but we are searching for a new margarita place now…sux for them because between my hubby and I and all our friends, they reaped some good $…I don’t see anything changing for the better…hopefully I’ll be proven wrong.

We LOVE Charritos!. Let me tell you: if you want a good margarita, this is the place to go. Top shelf is not to sweet, and packs plenty of punch. Muy Bueno! The salsa is fresh, flavorful, and served in individual cups so as to avoid the awkward communal salsa/double dipping nightmare (yikes!) Also, I highly recommend the enchiladas verdes. We’ve enjoyed everything we’ve eaten here.
