Buffet is Killer. This is one of the most consistently good lunch experiences in our little corner of Madison County. The service is always good and the food is such a nice change from burgers and fries. I frequent this restaurant. as a matter of fact i will eat here tonight.
Great little Chinese joint. Food is tasty and plentiful, good service, and the price is right! I have eaten at just about every Chinese place in the Huntsville area and China Cook is as good as any of them.
Pass. The food has that same super oily feel as almost every other mediocre Chinese restraunt in Hsv. Veggies were limp and lifeless…skip these folks and try Hong Kong (also on Winchester) instead.

I like it!. If you live anywhere in the northeast part of Huntsville over Chapman Mountain, China Cook is (in my humble opinion) the best Chinese restaurant. Their service is fast, respectful, and friendly. The restaurant, although small, is very clean and comfortable. It’s also surprisingly affordable, with a good benefit to cost ratio. I’d give them 4 stars out of 5. My personal favorite dishes are their Szechuan Combination and their House Special Chow Mei Fun (a pasta dish with very thin, soft rice vermicelli). The Young Chow Fried Rice (fried with white rice) is also very delicious! 🙂
