Childhood favorite. My favorite dish is the shrimp and broccoli! I am only 20 yrs old and my mom has been been taking us here for years…. When it comes to great quality and quantity we expect perfection and they give just that…. The food is always seasoned well and the owner and his wife are very nice…. You wouldn’t expect such great food in such a small place but the food is delicious and I don’t even bother to go to any other chinese takeout
This place is great! I’ve lived in Huntsville my whole life and have always driven past this restaurant. Recently I’ve moved closer and have been looking for a local takeout place. The ratings here were good and I grabbed some lunch. The price is great! Around 5 bucks for an entree and race with choice of soup. Can’t really beat that. And the food was really good. Cooked perfectly, fresh with good cuts of meat. None of that cheap cuts filled with fat non sense.
One of the best hole-in-the-wall Chinese places in town. I’ve been a fan of China Taste since around 2003, when a friend introduced me to the place. It’s not haute cuisine, but it IS made with attention and love, and the portions are plentiful. Even a big appetite like mine can’t contend with the size of China Taste’s entrees — I usually end up making two or three meals of things like the Kung Pao Chicken or the Hot and Spicy Wonton (aka Nuclear Wontons; they have pork inside and used to be much more capsaicany than they are, these days). The prices are very reasonable, and I was very glad to see some months ago that China Taste now accepts debit/credit cards; they used to operate on cash only. 🙂

Best kept secret in Huntsville as far as Chinese food is concerned.
Great food, low price. For both lunch and dinner, China Taste is often a favorite of mine if I am looking for lots of great food for low cost. Hope you brough your cash as they do not take credit cards.
It’s always an experience calling in orders, the main guy seems to have a speech issue. The chicken wings are large and tasty. The food is always hot and fresh. I eat there a couple of times a month.
