Yuck. I’m afraid the title says it all. Ordered ribs, pork, mac and cheese, and baked beans… The beans were good, mac and cheese ok, pork so-so, and the ribs were just not good. Tough and their bland sauce didn’t help. I wouldn’t recommend.
This place could do a hurtin on some good ribs with their pit, but they just cook them them too fast. For the likes of me, I don’t know why they don’t do low and slow. Their ribs are consistently tough with no pink smoke ring. Just my 2 cents worth.
Good bbq for sure. Not as good as the original in Tuscaloosa of course, but it satisfies that craving for college nostalgia. Bread and sauce always the best part 🙂
Very disappointed. I ordered a pulled pork plate. Pork was crunchy, which leads me to believe that part of it was too dried out. Mac and cheese and baked beans were okay. Tried my wife’s ribs and there was barely any meat and was on there was tough. The service was friendly and fast, but that’s not enough to try again.

Been going to Dreamland for years. I stopped going for a little bit because the ribs were tough. They are now under new management and everything is so much better. The ribs are fresh, the service is great, and the overall environment is cleaner and friendlier. I will definitely be going back more often!
Not impressed at all. The servers were really nice and fast but the food left much to be desired. I ordered the rib plate which came with 2 sides and 4 ribs. I got the coleslaw and baked beans as a side. What a rip-off. The sides weren’t that great and the ribs were awful. They were burnt and the sauce was really salty. Applebee’s, Chili’s or TGIFridays has better ribs than this place! I won’t be going back, ever.
