Thought it was closed (3 Aug 2012). I’ve been to this restaurant twice now in the past year and both times the door has been locked and no signs of life inside or out. Really looking forward to trying Jamaican but have been disappointed.
Authentic Jamaican food in the heart of Huntsville. I’ve been to Jamaica and this is some of the best Jamaican food I’ve had in the states. Forget the jerk. It’s good, but it’s the gringo version you get at the resorts in Jamaica, not the true local version. Get the chicken or goat curry. I promise it will have you sucking on bones it is so good. I haven’t tried the oxtails, but I would eat an entire plate of their cabbage alone. I’ve never been a fan of fried plantains, but I do know what a good one is supposed to taste like and these qualify. Don’t be scared by the looks of the place. It is somewhat of a hole in the wall. Real Jamaican food cooked by real Jamaicans.
Amazing food. From the jerk chicken to the curry goat to the oxtail, you can’t go wrong! Huge portions and reasonably priced. A gem in huntsville!
Good fresh jamaican food. For Jerk chicken, ask for it with sauce on the side. The sauce they put on it make it more bbq than jerk. Either way you have it, it’s good.

Oxtails. The oxtails here are the best!!! You’ll never get closer to home cooking than here!
