Great place to grab a coffee and baklava. Use to eat here often years ago but haven’t tried the food lately. I remember the humus being good! Has outdoor seating with a view of cars wizzing by on Jordan Lane.

Best food in Huntsville, bar none!. Probably (no, definitely) my favorite restaurant in Huntsville, if not the entire state of Alabama. The service isn’t the fastest, but it’s worth it for freshly made falafel (almost as good as Da Falafel King in Hawaii). It’s a little hole in the wall, which makes it easy to miss if you’re not looking out for it. Service is friendly and the restaurant is clean. Wholeheartedly recommend!

No disappointments here. Though Jamo’s seems to be both a diner and a coffee/tea shop, my main experience has been with the food. All of the dishes I’ve tried so far have been very pleasant, as has been the demeanor of the folks serving me. My favorites are the Gyros Pita and the Tabbouleh salad, both of which are scrumptious. I’ve also tried the Kafta Pita — it was all right, but I didn’t like it as much as I did the Gyros; it’s a matter of personal taste (and of love for a nice tzatziki sauce, with the Gyros has and the Kafta doesn’t). Although I was dubious about trying Baba Ghanoush because it contains eggplant, it turned out to be a very pleasant experience.in short, I’ve not had anything bad from Jamo’s, I like the friendly attitude of the servers and owner, and the cozy atmosphere resonates with both me and my friends.

Gyros Very Good. For the price and quality a great gyro. They use real lamb and not that ground spam stuff you might find at lesser gyro places.

Horrible. I have been eating Middle Eastern food for most of my life. I came down to Huntsville excited about trying the little ethnic restaurants they have in Huntsville and the surrounding areas. I came to Jamo’s expecting delicious Middle Eastern food, however I got a falafel filled with iceberg lettuce. The food though affordable, was flavorless, cheap and Americanized. I did not taste garlic, the pickles in my falafel were sliced pickles, I tasted no onions, and the falafel and meat in the pita wraps were sparse. I would not come here again, and for those who enjoyed this I pity you, you deserve better.

I love this place for lunch. Good, quality, and yes, healthy food at fast food prices.

Ok. Here’s how this works: Fast food=poor quality. We expect this trade-off: in return for speed, we get food which is very rarely memorable. Slow food=better quality. We understand that good/real food takes time to prepare. The longer we wait, the more heightened our expectations become. Here’s what I experienced today at Jamo’s: Slow food (20 minutes) with ho-hum results. It doesn’t take 10 minutes to pour a bowl of soup, and it doesn’t take 20 to make a so-so falafel. Jamo’s: either speed things up or quality things up. This wasn’t worth the wait.
