McDonald’s, Owens Cross Roads. I normally don’t write negative reviews, but this McDonald’s location was so bad I felt I should warn others not to go to this restaurant location. My husband and I stopped there for lunch and the inside dining room was so filthy I shudder to know what the kitchen looked like. There was spilled food, milkshakes, drinks, paper goods everywhere the eye could see. Who knows the last time they ever cleaned a table. The food also came out cold. I don’t know how they would pass a food/health inspection. This was the second time I have seen this restaurant in this condition. I asked to speak to the manager to show her the condition of their restaurant and she just had a blank look and did not say one word. If you are considering stopping here, I would urge you to drive one more block to Hardee’s which is always clean, friendly and much better quality food.
Staff issues/poor management… They seem to have forgotten they are there to do a job, not stand around and chit chat. Been there several times and the pop machine wasn’t working, they had run out of a food or supply item, the pop machine is gushing water and no one seemed to notice/care, have to get someone’s attention to take my order. Sweet tea is way too sweet–and I am a lover of sweet tea! Very unimpressed.
