I have always been satisfied with my meal and my service here, although I feel like the prices are a bit high for what you get. I’m all about paying for what I’m getting and don’t mind spending extra for extra special food & service. Just not sure the food warrants the price. The general atmosphere is very nice however.
Mezza Luna is one of my favorite Huntsville restaurants. Amazing food and service! Love the Sunday brunch – so many choices I always end up eating too much.
This place is over priced & sucks! The grouper special tasted weird & so did the burnt okra. The lasagna was also less than desirable. The waiter was enthusiastic, guess he has to be to be serving the crap that they push!
I hadnever had Mezza Luna until the Big Spring Crush wine festival. My husband tried the fried quail. Simply delicious! John had us try his peach bbq sauce with it and wow. I then had to order one for myself. We will be heading to the actual restaurant very soon.
Disappointed on Mothers Day. We went there last year for brunch because Broken Egg was so crowded and it was wonderful. This year my husband actually made a reservation for here instead. Unfortunately it was at 2pm and the Buffett was scarce and looked like it sat out all day like it did. Ended up ordering a burger instead. Only got water to drink- never asked us if we wanted anything else. Glasses were dry several times. Burgers severed with tiny cherry tomatoes that couldn’t be put on burger and no condiments . Took forever to get some Mayo. Not what I envisioned for Mother’s day!
SAY NO to breakfast brunch!!!!! We had the brunch yesterday and wish we had first read reviews of the brunch! I can’t believe they actually charged $19 for that. Where to start…the majority of the food isn’t breakfast food. Let me say that the frozen fish sticks were from a school lunchroom…and it’s downhill from there. The dried up scrambled eggs were rubbery at best. My husband said the bacon was the greasiest he had ever had. And being a breakfast brunch in Alabama without a potato in sight…unacceptable. If you want some luke warm pasta dish with a salad for brunch, this is the place. If not, go elsewhere.
Dinner is good; don’t waste your $$ on Sunday brunch. We went for brunch because we had such a good dinner there. The scallops were the best I’d had in Huntsville. I wish I could say the same for Sunday Brunch. For $21, I don’t expect cold pizza or waffles. It was a sad display for that price. Everything was just average. Nothing stood out. It would have been very hard to eat $21 worth. We were very disappointed. The service was good and attentive until we had to ask for the check twice. We may go back for dinner, but brunch was a total loss.
