My first visit and I was very pleased. I had a tempura/sushi combo dinner so I could try both and left both full and satisfied. Good food, good service and reasonable prices. I’ll definitely be going back.
FINALLY A DECENT SUSHI EMPORIUM. After trying many of the other sushi restaurants in Huntsville and north Alabama, I have finally found one that measures up favorably to good Japanese places in other sushi capitals like New Orleans, NYC, Portland etc.Although the management/ownership/service staff is Chinese not Japanese, they all do a very credible job and extend warm hospitality to all of their patrons.The menu is extensive, varied and suprisingly reasonably priced.I had the chirasizushi ($18.95) good an filling but wished they had used a more vinegared rice, with a few more fish(maybe some toro, maguro, ika, ebi) and more veggies. It might be that I am not a regular and as all sushi lovers know if you are a regular the selection and quality is always better.Try the sweet prawn. Really fabulous with the shrimp heads deftly fried, the tail beautifully presented, and with a nice dollop of row just on top.Everything else was good including the miso, edamame, and green tea. My dining companion raved aout her bento box .Forget, Edo, Sakura, I Love Sushi and all the other pretenders and try this place. You’ll appreciate the suggestion.
One of our favorite restaurants. Monday night often finds us at Miyako for dollar sushi. The dollar menu is limited, it’s true, so we sometimes add items from the regular menu. My favorite is the seafood delight roll. Service is sometimes slow on Monday nights, but not otherwise, and the staff and owners are extremely friendly. We’ve been going there so long they know us on sight.
Yummy!. I haven’t had sushi since I relocated back here from Florida where I went with friends several times a week. I was having a craving for red bean ice cream and saw it was on their menu. This is one of the few places in town where I have been able to find it. It was DELICIOUS! It was the perfect finish to a very nice and resonably priced meal. I tried the Alabama Roll and was pleasantly surprised to find out it was NOT BBQ (haha) but very good salmon and I also had a house salad with ginger dressing. It was a treat I really enjoyed and if I could get ANY MEMBER of my family to TRY it, I would go again soon.
Great service and big selection. I eat here on a regular basis. The waitresses are very sweet and attentive. They have a large sushi selection and their fish always taste fresh and wonderful. Even their tempura is awesome (scallops and lobster are wonderful!).

Such sweet friendly workers. Chicken terriaki a le carte is super. Also the vegetable tempura sushi is wonderful! Great place.they have something for everyone…highly recommend if you’re looking for good sushi!
