I’ve been coming to Rice Box at least once a week for the past two years. It’s my favorite restaurant for affordable and quality Chinese. From the Salmon Avocado to the Red Dragon Roll, their sushi is some of the best in the city. I personally prefer their Hibachi selection, although at times it can be a gamble between decent quality and high quality meat. This is by far one of the best spots to eat in Huntsville, with great staff and excellent customer service.
In the beginning this restaurant was pretty good. The food tasted good and the prices were even better, but now everything is not worth a penny or your time. The sushi is always warm (food poisoning), the salad dressing is old, and the meats are rubbery. Our waitress, although nice, spilled miso soup on the table and did not say sorry or clean it up. Save your stomachs and pick a different restaurant.
From what I experienced, I wouldn’t really recommend this place for sushi. It is a satisfying option for most everything else on the menu, which is pretty broad. Your dollar can stretch pretty nicely here as well.
