Great Mexican and a decent bar… Salsa is amazing. A step above your avg mexican place
Pass on this place. It was always busy so we decided to give it a try. Limited menu, bland food. Anything that had flavour was hot(spicy) just for the sake of being hot/to cover up the pre-made, unseasoned taste of the food. Very much not impressed. If you want good, tasty, affordable Mexican, try Buenavista over in the Shoppes at Madison.
Favorite Place for Mexican Cuisine. Reasonable prices, I like to go for lunch. The chips and salsa are AMAZING! Everything I have tried has been very good. I will normally order Pollo Santa fe, Beef Enchiladas, or Taco Salad. It is a fun family friendly environment, I recommend it.
Ordered fajitas and when the server didn’t understand why I was disappointed that the skillet wasn’t smoking and sizzling, but just warmed over–I knew the manager needed my ear. They brought it back properly–everything freshly cooked and sizzling. Portions were not generous–I got three tortillas. Salsa was good. Tried the appetizer with fried mushroom covered in jalapeos and crushed tortillas. It was good, but the topping of peppers and chips competed with space for mushroom–there should be more mushroom, less topping. Wait staff was stand offish because I needed to get the mgmt. not a great evening–but it got better.
Stay away from the fish tacos. I have eaten here several times. The food and service has always been good. Yesterday I had a fish taco. It had no flavor. I asked for Pico and cilantro to see if that would help. It didn’t and they charged me for a Pico bump. I’ve had fish tacos at other places and it was good. I filled out a survey and told the manager. She said she would talk to the cook about it. The bottom line is don’t get their fish taco.
I love Rosie’s A little pricey for Mexican food.
Cool place.. Friendly bartenders, good prices and great food. Fun american Mexican atmosphere.
