This place is a real gem in Huntsville. Family owned. Reasonably priced. Delicious, authentic Indian cuisine made with quality ingredients and lots of love. The ambience is warm and inviting. Management is very hands on which makes for a great dining experience. Highly recommend both lunch buffet and dinner (open fairly late).
An Indian curry restaurant is a welcome addition to this part of town. I’ve eaten here 3 times since it opened a month or so ago. They have a good range of selections and they’re quite tasty. My only gripe is that the service, though well intended, is slow. One should not have to wait so long to be seated when the restaurant is not really busy. In addition, the wait after placing my order has been slow. Finally, I had to wait about 5-10 minutes for the check. I will definitely continue to eat here because we desperately need an Indian restaurant here and I do like the dishes. An additional comment 3 months later – they need to mop the concrete floor – sticky and dirty. Still like the food.
The DH and I went about a week ago. We were seated immediately & I was impressed by the variety of dishes; of course they have all the ‘regular’ dishes but there were several I hadn’t heard of. The decor is Indian yet modern and casual. Our food was delicious! Almost as good as Saffron & I’m delighted that I don’t have to drive so far to get really good food like this. The ONLY reason I didn’t give a 5 rating is because the AC was SO COLD – we were quite uncomfortable. I’ll be back again but I’ll bring a sweater or blanket or something.
Best indian cuisine in huntsville. I mean it, was waiting for a restaurant to serve freshly made naan from a long time in huntsville and this place does it so well .The food is very flavorful unlike other indian restaurants which serve same dish with different names. Also the spice level is adjusted accordingly. Weekend buffet is worth a visit.
