Five of us went out for dinner, and after that meal, I think 5.5 returned. This place has got to be one of the best kept secrets in Huntsville. The outside has no bright lights or neon signs, etc. and the inside is adorned with knock off Indian pictures bought a a wholesale or flea market. BUT, what they have saved in overhead, was redistributed to the chef in the back. THE FOOD WAS AWESOME! The service was great and attentive.. We started out with Samosas, which were huge (a little different than the normal triangles), but delicious. When the guys started bringing out our food, our eyes popped out of our heads from the quantity, colors, and aromas heading our way. Just to say, five Army guys each left with a to go box for the next day.

We get take-out from here regularly – we used to go to the other Indian spot but this one is far superior. It’s consistently good, with well balanced flavors and quality ingredients (the other spot appeared to use frozen mixed veg). The baingan bhartha is fantastic.

So far one if the most decent places to eat Indian foodin huntsville…But it’s not authentic Indian food, the buffet in general was bland and flavorless no seasoning at all. Indian food is not spicy hot so there’s no need to make it so bland. If you want to try good real Indian food go to Nashville

Buffet is great and cheap. Staff is fairly friendly but the food is amazing. If the buffet is on go for that. The menu while nice really doesn’t compare to the value of the buffet. The chairs are a bit uncomfortable though.

Had a Indian food craving while on a business trip to Huntsville. Went at lunch, pretty good. Decently prices for a buffet. Can’t wait to have it for a sit down dinner meal.

Sitar Sitting. Stopped in with the office workers, a group of eight. We were seated promptly. The food was great, buffet was nice (not a buffet fan normally), service was fast and friendly. Loved the place and will make it back for dinner soon.15 Mar, 2012Sitar Sitting. Stopped in with the office workers for lunch. Sat eight folks with not problem. Food was great, buffet was nice (not big buffet fan), service was quick and friendly. Will make it back for dinner for sure.

Consistently Good. I really love their lunch buffet, it’s simple but I enjoy everything I eat. Even though it’s a buffet, they manage to keep things fresh, I’m impressed
