Tlas. Eat there often. Love the food. Management needs to get involved in day to day operation. Greeters need to make you feel welcome and try to meet your seating requests. Don’t expect to park close because all of the workers park at the front door. Prices keep changing. One dish increased about $5. Thai tea is also priced too high for example. Would get more repeat business if prices were in line.

Food just isn’t the same.. About a year ago the quality of the food went down. maybe a new manager in the back….don’t know. tofu either under cooked or overcooked. My husbands meat dishes had veges usually undercooked. food is still nice, but we will keep looking around for a new favorite place to eat.

Repeat Customer!. This place is great! They have awesome lunch specials for under $10 that include a soup. I usually get the chicken noodle bowl or the BBQ Chicken. Can’t go wrong with either. The staff is always friendly, but sometimes slow and inattentive during busy hours. I continue to return to this place and am never disappointed.

I have been to this restaurant 3 times in the last month. Each time hoping it would be better than the last. I have never eaten Thai food I didn’t like until now. The first time I visited I had pad Thai. Usually a surefire winner. Not at Surin, it was too sweet. The sauce did not taste like tamarind at all. It tasted like sugar. The next visited I chose a salad with chicken and peanut sauce. This was the same chicken and peanut sauce that I had on my 3rd visit when it was called satay. Unfortunately the chicken had no flavor, was charred /burned on the outside and had a rubbery texture. I think it had been microwaved at some point. The peanut sauce was again very sweet with no tang or spice. It was truly disappointing.I also tried the hot and sour shrimp soup. The first time it came out the broth was lukewarm and the shrimp uncooked. The next time it came out it was hot, however, the broth had very little flavor and the shrimp had a very odd black sludge on parts of them. It was not edible. Our waiter was very nice. He removed it from our check. I will not return to Surin. I usually love Thai food, but not this time!23 Nov, 2014Spicy Hot And Sour Shrimp Soup. Not really hot, not really spice. Shrimp were raw the first time, the second time they had a black scum on them. Gross23 Nov, 2014Spicy Hot And Sour Shrimp Soup. The first time it came out the shrimp were raw and the broth lukewarm. The second time it came out the shrimp had a strange brown/black substance in the middle.23 Nov, 2014Satay Beef Or Chicken. Burned chicken with strange rubber like texture. Served with peanut butter-sugar sauce. Terrible- unlike any SATAY I HAVE EVER EATEN

Best Ethnic Food In Huntsville. Surin has been my favorite restaurant in Huntsville since moving here. The food is well seasoned, the staff are friendly and it has a fine dining quality at an affordable price. The food is always timely with short waiting times even during the heavy traffic of dinner. The owner is an upstanding guy and believes in accommodating his customers! Great food. Best restaurant hands down!

Cocktails Anyone?. We’ve never been disappointed with our meals here, they are consistently well-presented and tasty. That said, we don’t come here for the food as much as the cocktails. Talk about bang for your buck! These are the best cocktails this side of Atlanta!!!

Forgettable. I won’t say I disliked the food like I did at Phukett but it was really just ok for me here. I had a thin noodle dish with vegetables and tofu and it was ok but not exciting. My fianc had a flat noodle dish with chicken and vegetables and she too felt underwhelmed by her meal.
