Ordered the ribs for dinner and was told have to wait til Thursday. So, ordered my next favorite, brisket. Was told have to wait til Wed. The pork sandwich was good.
Yum! But what about the GREEN BEANS?. Tried out the Ted’s in Five Points Saturday night. Super friendly staff, although a little new, but that’s okay.Delicious BBQ pork; perfectly seasoned. It was a tad dry, but with the slaw and/or white sauce (really good!), it was wonderful! The corn muffins were lovely, the bbq beans were exquisite and the slaw? Let’s talk about that slaw!!!! It was fresh, crunchy, not too sweet, not too sour. It was really more like a cabbage salad than any traditional slaw. I’d go back just for that!As good as everything was, I was SO disappointed in the green beans! They were straight from the can and blah. Blech! How hard is it to make homemade green beans? Charge us all an extra .25 and give us freshly cooked green beans, please! If you need help, I’ll show you how to make them! Please? If Ted’s had fresh green beans, it would be perfect!!!
