What Happened To The Good Stuff?. Last night, January 10, 2014 my wife and I visited Texas Roadhouse in Huntsville Al. It is not the first time we have been there, but we have noticed a steady decline in quality. Last night I ordered the Porterhouse, along with Cheese Fries, and Spicy Wings for appetizers. When the Cheese fries arrived, they were cold, hard, and the melted cheese on top was like a piece of concrete. The steak was thin rubbery and tough. This is not what I am used to from TRH, I can get that at Lone Star or Longhorn. What happened to the great food?J. R. Patanospeedo43@mediacombbnet
When you go don’t get waitress Kelsey. She is not a good. Had better service with other staff who were not our waitress.
I had a bone in ribeye. The steak was cooked to perfection and had a great taste. My sides were salad and mashed potatoes. The sides were good too. The rolls are to die for. My service was great. I had a very good overall experience. I will definately eat there again.
I found the service good and had a supervisor stop by several times to make sure everything was to my liking. The food was okay but not exceptional. A bit pricey for the average quality and certainly nothing to recommend it over the dozen other generic steakhouses in the area.
The first thing you notice as you walk in is an over abundance of staff. My husband and I placed our dinner order at 4:30 on a Wednesday afternoon with virtually no customers in the restaurant. After 30 minutes the waiter came by to tell us that he was pushing the kitchen staff along, and 10 minutes later he informed us that they dropped the ball. Our food arrived 50 minutes from the time we ordered. We did receive a $10.00 discount with an apology from the waiter, but no apology from one of the many many managers present. Food that finally did arrive was marginal at best, and with that many staff members, and no customers, our service should have been A+. Overall I give this latest chain restaurant in Huntsville a C-!! My advice to this restaurant is skip the line dancing show and focus on service and food quality.
Horrible… Aweful thin steak with no flavor… Why go anywhere else but Connors if you want a steak… Bleh!
Staff was very friendly, and the ribs were awesome. Hubby had steak tips with a rich gravy. Lots of sides to choose from. Prices were good too. We will be back.
