My family loves to visit Melting Pot. We usually do cheese, salad, then desert. The service is always great and they are really good with young kids. Having a reservation gets you seated to your table quickly and I the owner always stops by your table to make sure you enjoyed your time.
Great date night!. The pace of the meal is much more European and helps put the emphasis on actually engaging in conversation. Everything tastes great and the service is very personal. Will definitely be going back!
Food quality here isn’t what it used to be: (1) broccoli served with our cheese course looked like it had been frozen & was served at refrigerator cold temperature, (2) bread was stale, (3) spinach salad was served as a layer of spinach over iceberg lettuce, (4) blue cheese served on a salad that should have had no cheese, (5) candied peanuts used to make the turtle chocolate fondue, should have been pecans, (6) Rice Krispies served with dessert were from the blue Kellogs box, not made fresh (pound cake, cheese cake also frozen variety like Sara Lee). I know fresh food & my experience tonight was second rate & textbook improv from the fridge.
Wonderful Dining Experience. My wife and I went for a special date night on our Anniversary, and we were not disappointed. Sure, it was pricey ($150 including tip), but it was delicious and we were stuffed when we left – we ate for the entire two hours we were there, since we each had the full four course meal. The service was top notch, our server was polite and very helpful (which was good because we’d never eaten at a fondue restaurant before), and we’ll definitely be back for special occasions.I highly recommend it to everyone!
Wonderful Experience. I realize after my first experience, I am not a true fan of boiling my steak. I did thouroughly enjoy the experience and fantastic staff at the Melting Pot. The owner came around, introduced himself, and continued to check on us through the evening. The cheese and dessert were wonderful. I realized that if you are going to gripe about price for a unique meal (Note I didn’t say bad meal), then you shouldn’t be at Bridgestreet to begin with. We will definitely be back.
Just Wonderful. My wife and I went there on Saturday the 28th for dinner. It was a night out to celebrate our 20th Anniversary and it will be one to remember. When making reservations I requested a private booth and let them know that it was our first time to visit The Melting Pot and what we were celebrating. All of the staff was very friendly and great to be around. Our waiter was Kane and he was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He explained everything to us and all the different options that we had. I would have to say that he was very attentive of our needs but he was not bothersome. The food there was wonderful; we had the spinach and artichoke cheese to start with, which was wonderful, next we had our salads, I had the wedge salad with a wonderful dressing and my wife had the House salad which she enjoyed, next we had the main course that consisted of Ahi Tuna, White Shirmp, Chicken, Steak, and Teriyaki Steak all of which we cooked in the Court Bullion, after that we had the Flaming Turtle Chocolate. All of the food was wonderful and there was a lot of it. Kane kept the courses timed just right so that we could savor the flavors of the food and enjoy the time with each other as we ate dinner. We will definitely be going again.
There’s Nothing I Love More…. I could honestly eat here every day for the rest of my life & never grow tired of this amazing food. The service is always outstanding. The restaurant is always spotless, both indoors & outdoors. The food is always impeccable. ALWAYS. There is so much variety & even the pickiest of eaters will find something to enjoy. They will eagerly cater to any allergies & do the very best to ensure that you fully enjoy every aspect of your meal.To those who complain about having to ‘cook your own food’… it is not as if you are in the kitchen cutting things up & baking. You simply place your selection into the boiler. It isn’t hard work. In fact, I find it enjoyable to be able to spend extra time with your dining partner while ensuring your food is done EXACTLY the way you like it! I have eaten here so many times & I will continue to come back.Five out of five stars, guys!
