If you’re looking for a solid Cajun meal in Huntsville, add Tim’s to your list.Their food has just enough spice to satisfy those who crave it while allowing those who may like it a little cooler to find something for themselves on the menu.I love their poboys and their red beans and rice. I am not a gal who enjoys heat in my meal, but I do like it to have a little Cajun kick. My husband enjoys the heat, and he always finds something on the menu to satisfy his palate. The menu doesn’t offer a lot of variety, but we have not ever had a bad meal here, and we have eaten here plenty of times. We enjoy the ambiance as well. It has a relaxed feel to it, so whether you want to sit and chat a while or you prefer dining alone and want to read a book, Tim’s meets this need. I find it soothing.
Not much for ambiance, but this is a pretty good place for Cajun food. Very reasonable prices. The Jumbalaya was pleasantly spicy and very filling. The bread pudding was simple yet tasty. Service was excellent.
Tim’s is great! Kristen & Mike are the best. Food is awesome & service is amazing.
Had the crawfish touffe, best touffe in huntsville super flavorful with a slight kick. EXCELLENT service. If you are unsure about a dish they will even give you a sample to try. Give it a shot you won’t be disappointed.21 Nov, 2013NOT a cash only restaurant they take credit cards someone needs to edit this info.
I thought it was great! Went in 8:30 on a Monday, right before the kitchen closed, ordered a fried gator, jambalaya, smoke wings – everything was delicious! Well, the gator was weird but it was gator afterall. Bar was a bit hot but so was the food so maybe it was the combo that made me sweat!
Burnt Oil….. I kept passing by Tim’s on the way to a jobsite and decided to give it a try today. The outside in the middle bar area seems like it would be a good place to have a few drinks with friends.I ordered a crawfish poboy with cajun fries. The poboy was split on both sides so that when I went to pick it up to eat, half of the crawfish and lettuce fell out.The sauce completely soaked thru the bottom bread making it a soggy mess.So I ended up picking the tiny morsels of crawfish out of the sandwich. The fries/crawfish had a burnt taste to them,..oil change time??
Tim’s Cajun is a Huntsvile Staple! Their Jambalaya is…WOW! There is always enough to bring home leftovers, and as much as I dislike leftovers, the Jambalaya is even better the next day! Compliment it with the deviled eggs, and the twice baked stuffed potato (dinner only) & you have what my grandpa called ‘good eatin’. It is a sin to leave Tim’s Cajun without bread pudding in your belly. Their topping on it is the best.
