  Our Miata group gave this place a try this past weekend. I had already read various reviews and determined that ribs and their peanut butter pie needed to be tried. I had both and the ribs were fantastic, fell apart and so tender!!! Also, their White Sauce and House BBQ Sauce was outstanding. My husband had a pork sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it with their Spicy BBQ Sauce. I also had their potato salad, deviled eggs while hubby had their fried okra, which was all great! But the peanut butter pie was fabulous! So many desserts to try, coconut custard which one of our friends tried and said it was delicious. My eyes spied a Hello Dolly bar but my tummy said, NO not now !!! I suspect we will be back soon to try their beef brisket which one of our friends just bragged on throughout the meal.

  My husband and I saw the Alabama BBQ documentary and Rustys Bar-B-Q was one of the featured restaurants. We happened to be near Leeds around dinner time tonight and decided to give it a try. Over all it was quite good. I enjoyed trying all the different sauces and the pork sandwich was good. The meat wasn’t fatty at all and had a great flavor. My husband also tried the banana pudding which he really liked. The biggest downside is that I’ll likely need a shower before bed to remove the strong smoke smell!! I would get it to go next time…
