Good food, GREAT price.. My wife and I have frequented Edo for a year now. We’ve tried other places in Huntsville and while the food at other places was better sometimes, the price was very high. Edo won’t often amaze you with their food (although several of the sushi rolls are pretty fantastic, like the Madison roll). However, you can’t beat the quality you get for such an affordable price. We take our west coast friends here for sushi. We’ll often split 10-12 rolls among 4 of us and come out of it spending $50, even after tip.The bottom line is this: If you want fine Asian dining, go elsewhere. If you want good sushi and Japanese for a reasonable price, Edo is for you.

Two words……..Firecracker Chicken. Try it. There is no like, only love.

Probably the worst japanese restaurant I have ever eaten in my life. I ordered teriyaki chicken. The soup and salad was delightful. However, i do not know what the main dish was. Did not look, smell, or taste like chicken. I will never return under any circumstances.

Fond memories. A friend of mine introduced me to Edo back in 2002 or so. I had my first real sushi here, and ever since, have made a point of letting Edo help me explore other tastes of sushi.in late May 2012, I visited with several friends, and had a notion to try something NOT on the menu. Edo offers Kitsune Udon (with bits of fried tofu as the meat analogue), but I wanted Tanuki Udon, which has morsels of fried tempura batter in place of the abuurage (fried tofu). Our server took my request to the chef, who happily complied, and thus I got my first experience of Tanuki Udon, which turned out to be very nice indeed.another memory was my first time trying nattou — our server was surprised that I had asked for it, and was very cautionary in her tone in making sure I knew what I was ordering. (Nattou is slick, slimy, fermented soybeans — it is very MUCH an acquired taste, even for Japanese folk.) Although I ended up not being much of a fan, I appreciated the way it was served and enjoyed it as best I could… until it got so slimy from my fretful toying with it that I couldn’t bear to continue. I was warned conscientiously by our server, though, and that’s the good memory I have of this particular bit of eating. 🙂

Great Sushi. One of the better places on the West side of Huntsville to get sushi. Decent prices too. If you are looking for something other than sushi try the chicken rice bowls, especially the dynamite chicken bowl.

If you want sushi, go to Edo. Their regular menu isn’t anything special, but their sushi is amazing! The Alabama roll and the Madison roll are my favorites!
