Best. I tried a few different chinese take out and this is the best. Actually its the only one that is acceptable. Chinese in this area is dodgy but this place is great 🙂 Save yourself some time and just go here.
Food quality. When I first came to Madison, Al. in 2009 this was the first restaurant I went to. The food was wonderful. I really enjoyed the Egg Foo Young, Mu Su Pork and the Fried Chicken wings. During the time between 2009 and now the people cooking and running the restaurant has changed. The food stayed constant up until this last turn over. The taste and quality has went down. The Egg Foo Young seems to taste burnt, and they even changed the way they cook they’re chicken wings. (No flavor and really greasy.) I spent a number of years in the Far East and I really enjoy Chinese, Malay, Thai, and Japanese cuisine. I hope they can find the problem in the kitchen, and why the taste and quality has gone down hill.

Good food, good service, good pricing. It’s decent chinese food and good service.
Dissapointing. We did not think that the Moo Shu was very good at all. The pancakes felt very plastic and commercialized. The pancakes should be delicate and tender. The Moo Shu was absolutely bland and tasteless. The Kung Pao was mostly celery and did not have the spice that was expected for Kung Pao. The General Tso’s was good as was the Beef Lo Mein. The Crab Rangoon was also good. So if you are hankering General Tso’s come here. Otherwise look elsewhere.
Yummy Chinese Take-Out. My family and I have been eating take-out from Golden China for years! It’s really become a family staple. We all love their sesame chicken, beef and broccoli, kung po chicken and their crab rangoon, to name a few! It’s the best Chinese take-out around Madison hands down and really conveniently located in the Kroger shopping center off Hughes. If you order $30 or more they give free entrees, eggrolls or crab rangoon which is also very nice.
