For the most part this is your basic small Mexican joint, however they have a simple hidden gem. Their beef tacos are the bomb! Pretty good chips and dip too. The service is outstanding as well. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
Best carnitas in the area. My husband and I love authentic Mexican food and had the opportunity to dine here a few nights ago we are headed back tonight because it was so good! Service was awesome lots of help deciding what to order would recommend to anyone who loves Mexican food
Second times a charm…not really!. Visited La placenta…oops La Placita again just to give it the ol college try. I would have spent my money better at the Kroger frozen food isle. Our dinner was so cold and when we told them they graciously took it back… Nuked it and returned it to the table.( finger print and all!) Not only mine but three other people at our table. The fish was so bad I was embarrassed to even ask for something different. One of our guests stated they haven’t been here for ages and how can they mess up an enchilada? It can be done! We’ll now we know why we haven’t been back in 6 years-! The servers were so nice though! Very attentive. However when we asked for cheese dip they brought us tea. We asked for sour cream they brought us cheese dip? My suggestion is to point and maybe ask for a picture menu. (I only speak broken Spanish yet we still had issues.). I will stick to making dinner at home.
This was our first time here. We will definitely come back when we’re in the area.
Great Family Restaurant. I brought my family of 7 here when visiting Huntsville and was pleasantly surprised. Great service, good food and out the door without breaking the bank.
If you like Casablanca, but hate the wait/crowd, try La Placita. My friends and I have found we can easily get a table for 10 there, and while the place is in no way silent, the place is quiet enough to carry on a decent conversation.
