This was a fun little place. My grilled chicken was very tasty. The chocolate espresso vodka shot was amazing. I wasnt as thrilled with the beer, but ima little pickier about my beer. Lots of folks seemed to be enjoying it rather well. Ordered my mom a lemon martini, and the bartender suggested adding blackberry to it. It was delicious! Definitely recommend visiting!
We make a point every time we come to Huntsville for the last three years on our way home or from Spring Break to eat at Old Black Bear! However, tonight has truly changed our opinion of a very good establishment. We were greeted at the front with a 30-45 minute wait which we happily accepted. We were seated after the designated time. After a few minutes our orders were taken and then we waited, and waited, and waited. Over an hour for our food and still it was never brought. We were told that due to several tables being seated at once we would have to wait. However with two children in tow, we decided to leave and head somewhere fast to get food. We met the manager on our way out with his, coffee cup in hand, and he stated sorry folks, we have a new chef in he kitchen. He ended up comping our drinks, but seemed to not care there were several tables who had waited just as long if not longer. I am truly disappointed and expected a bit more urgency from the staff and manager to help the new chef and kitchen staff.

First time visiting. Was very pleasantly surprised. Great service, beyond beer bar and very good food options. New favorite place for lunch or casual dinner
