My second visit after a while hoping for a better experience than the first and it was underwhelming for sure. The service wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. The food was definitely very meh.
Fresh food and large portions – you really get your money’s worth.. My kids love the fruit cup; always big portions of fresh food. The burger is yummy (the pretzel bun is so good), and the grilled cheese sandwich is my favorite. Most of my friends go for the quiche:)
Father’s Day breakfast. My husband heard about Sunny Street Caf and he told me that he wanted to go for Father’s Day. I was very skeptical but Beth eased my mind and our family enjoyed breakfast. We found a new spot!
Waiting for supplies to arrive.. Yep, that’s what the server said after an hour of waiting for our meal to come out. We knew something was wrong when people we came in with were leaving before our orders arrived. At any time had we known we would have been happy to reorder. When we were let in on the situation we were told it would be right out, thirty minutes later it came out wrong. Took a while for the replacement to come out, we made the best of it. Management ignored us, we paid full price for everything and tipped well and marked this one off the list.
If you love slow terrible service you’ve found the right place!!! Baaaarrrrffff!!
Such a cute breakfast place in suburban Madison. Great food. Prices as good as Cracker Barrel but local is always better. Will definitely come back again for breakfast, which is their specialty.
Meh. Definitely not worth…. Meh.Definitely not worth the hype. We stood & waited to be seated for almost 3 minutes in an almost empty restaurant. Our food (a breakfast wrap & some biscuits with gravy) took over 20 minutes to arrive despite there only being 2 other tables & 2-3 waitresses. Our glasses went empty for quite some time & while the food was okay-to-good, it was definitely not worth the trouble nor the price. Go have breakfast at Blue Plate Cafe or Another Broken Egg.
