Use to eat there frequently. Place was always packed. Haven’t been in a while on Tuesday Snow Crab leg night. Invited sister and boyfriend. So disappointed. Place was empty and service was slower than usual. My sister said chowder was too salty. She and I got stuffed crab and neither of us ate it. Nothing but breading. She only took one bite. I stuffed down one but could not eat the other one. Hushpuppies were over cooked and weird taste. The snow crabs were soggy and tough. My sisters boyfriend said they were the worst he’s ever had. We are going back to the Causeway. Plenty of good seafood there and much better service. Because I helped shell my husbands crab legs and every now and then snitched a bite (literally maybe 5 bites out of 6 knuckles) they charged me $33. So if you decide to pay out good money for bad food and service, don’t try anything off someone else’s plate no matter how bored you are. I came home hungry and ate leftovers.

All You Can Eat Steamed Shrimp. Seasoned with old bay steamed shrimp comes with corn new potatoes and a salad or slaw.. all for 18.95 and all you can eat on thursday nights

We were headed back to Orange Beach and stopped at Baudean’s based on their positive reviews. Very cute little restaurant with lots of seafood items to choose from. We both opted for their Tuesday’s special, which was all you can eat crab legs for $31. The meal included a salad, and a small piece of corn on the cob and white potatoes.We both had the homemade thousand Island dressing for our salad. It was so delicious we purchased a small container to take home with us.They were extremely generous with their crab legs which they were more than happy to bring more if we wanted. The crab legs were served hot and lightly dusted with old bay spice. They were simply delicious!We ended our dinner with an order of fried brownie bites which were served with a creamy peanut butter sauce. They were wonderful.Besides the wonderful food, our waitress Leslie was cheerful and very attentive. The only bad thing about this restaurant is that it is so far from Orange Beach.
