Great place. I really like this restaurant. Me and my boyfriend used to go here every week before his job changed his work hours. I love the margarita specials! This place is very laid back; you just walk on in and sit whereever you want (instead of being stuck by that table with the annoying crying baby or loud obnoxious people). My favorite dish is the nachos! Beef, chicken, ultimate, bean, they’re all great! The only dish that I tried I didn’t like is the chicken quesadilla. There’s one waitress who I really don’t like, but all the other ladies are really nice and most nights, unless very busy, are prompt with coming to the table. The owner/manager guy is really friendly too! He goes around to all the tables every hour or so and talks to you, makes sure your food is correct and everything is okay and jokes around. 🙂

Yukkola!. If you like stale chips, hit and miss on quality food, the worst Margarita’s in town with bad service , this is your place then.. Other wise, wise up and make a drive to Fuego’s and you will see what good food is about. Won’t be back.

Good TexMex for Mobile, AL. If you like to go to Mexican restaurants that have canned salsa and watered down drinks, this is not the place for you. The drinks are very good, and three frozen Margaritas will put a grown man down. Beer is always cold. Yes, the servers do not speak English very well, but to me, that just adds to the atmosphere. Having spent time in Texas and Oklahoma, I have to say that this is as close as you can get to the real deal in Mobile.
Not a fan. I will say this- the salsa is pretty good- mostly because it is heavy on the cilantro, which I like; but otherwise I don’t like this place at all. Both times I’ve been here I did not like my entrees at all; most of the time I can pick through an entree well enough to be satisfied- but not here. It’s kind of hard to describe why the food is bad; poor execution? ingredients? I’m not sure. Just overall badness. It’s a small place with hard wooden booths that are crammed in there that aren’t that comfortable- but artfully carved I will say. They play loud mexican music with spanish-speaking djs which can be really distracting. I’ve heard the margaritas are good, but I’ve never partaken. When they crank up the daiquiri machine that gets loud too. Overall, I wouldn’t want to go there again for anything other than the chips & salsa. Maybe a drink. Avoid the entrees.
