Got a shrimp plate and chicken legs. Meh, it was ok, probably won’t go back. The okra was over-fried, Lima beans were good though. Shrimp were tasteless, could have been cooked in old grease. Not impressed.
From Indiana. Awesome fried home cookin. Everything tasted fantastic. Our table had popcorn shrimp, chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken & flounder! Must go try it.
Don’t cheat your self get the fried green tomatoes and fried chicken.

Piss poor. Got refused to sit a party of 6 together. What restaraunt doesn’t allow you to put tables together? We all left.
Really enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. Food was hot and fresh at lunch time, and the waitresses were beautiful and very attentive and sweet. Not to mention the owners of the restaurant are wonderful people who genuinely care about their customers. Highly recommend Neighbors!!
Stick to fried, be satisfied. Pretty much all the fried items on the menu carry the day and that is quite a long list.Chicken.Livers.Gizzards.Fish.Oyster Po-Boy.Fried steak.All these are great. Sides are decent but not really the freshest homemade variety. Seafood gumbo was not great. Did like the steamed cabbage however.Crowded more at lunch than dinner and friendly southern style service. Kind of place Lynryd Skynryd would eat…..without Neil Young.Enjoy Swamp Music. RTR.
