Fried Mushrooms. The Pizzas are great. Better than great.However, The frozen mushrooms that are then fried are rubbery.Fresh mushrooms are the way to go..
Poor customer service…. They won’t answer their phones for call in orders. I don’t have time to sit in the restaurant for an hour for them to cook our pizzas. At one point, they picked up the phone and hung up.
AWFUL!!!!. I have never had such bad service as I did last night at Semmes Pizza. I am a resident of Semmes, needed something quick to pick up for dinner where I didn’t have to cook. I had been wanting to try Semmes Pizza, So I thought what better opportunity. From the moment I walked into the door, it was the most awful experience. The lady at the counter was so rude, and did not act like she was at work by no means. She charged me 70 cents a piece for ranch dressing that I did not even get, gave me COLD marinara sauce to go with my cheese sticks, and right in front of me, she said there is always those difficult customers, I have never in my life been more annoyed at a restaurant than I was last night. There is plenty of people who need jobs, believe me, coming from a small business owner herself, it isn’t easy running a business but having respectful, dependable people making your business look good, and make people want to come back means a lot. The pizza was cold, and the dough was not fully cooked. I hate that I had this experience, but I hope that the owner will see this and do something about it, where anyone else can have a pleasurable experience.
Great Pizza. I’m always a sucker for a pizza place that isn’t a national brand. This place doesn’t disappoint. Their pizza is good, their Calzone is amazing, and their Stromboli is top notch. The prices are great and the service is always friendly.
