Awful. I have been a few times and it is apparently hit and miss there as the quality of the food is not consistant and the service as well. I will never return and do not recommend eating there.
That seafood salad on the salad bar is so tasty. The seafood salad is so good here. WE always have friendly service and the food is pretty good. I love the corn nuggets and pulled pork sandwich. The sweet tea is tasty here and so is the mac n cheese.
In my opinion not very good!. We’ve eaten here several times with friends. 1st time was okay. Times after were not enjoyable. Ordered the redneck egg rolls. Just that! You would need to be drunk in order to even get them down. The BBQ has always been very dried out and overcooked. You should always try a place for yourself but I wouldn’t recommend this place. Go to Moe’s BBQ or Brick Pit!
Tasty. Ate lunch Sunday, baby back rib lunch, and turkey lunch special, with sides. Everything we had was very tasty, tender and moist. Service was well paced, and our server was very nice. For the price, you just can’t beat it.
Hostess was clueless.. We went to Sonny’s today for lunch. Understandably it is Sunday midday people getting out of church. So yes they were busy. We put our name on the waiting list. We sat waiting for over an hour, while people ahead who had come in after us were seated before us. There were 7 of us, twice parties with 7 & 8 people were seated before us. When I asked the gal who was calling names for seating why we weren’t seated yet she looked at her paper, I pointed out our name, her answer was well we don’t have a table for you yet. Hhhhhmmm……at least 2 other parties were seated almost as soon as they cane in the door. She, the hostess, was too busy texting on her phone to pay attention to what she was supposed to be doing. Once we were seated the service was spot on and the food was good. I will not go back due to first impressions of the hostess. I suggest management watch the service a bit closer. Sunday at 1:30 in the afternoon should not have been over an hour to be seated and had to complain to actually get seated.
It is good BBQ, but it is extremely overpriced. I just spent $30 on 2 dinners to go and a gallon of tea. That wouldn’t have been so bad if I actually got a full plate of food. I got the chopped brisket dinner and it didn’t even cover 1/4 of my to go styrofoam plate. Very disappointed.
Sonnys is ok. I like sonnys but smokey dembos has better barbecue you got to try them out if you have never been there. But they are only open Thursdays Fridays and saturdays so you got to go there on one of those days.
