Very Good! My husband loves their sushi, me the fried rice!
It was amazing food with a great customer care. Highly recommend.
Everything is Perfect. Amazing place to eat. Me and the wife have eaten here 2-3 times a week consistently since we discovered it. Every single item we have tried on the menu is fantastic in both flavor and price.Sushi is the cheapest I have ever found. You would think that means lots of rice, but it is the opposite. There are more non-rice ingredients in the value rolls than I get in most full price rolls elsewhere. They have multiroll specials all day as well for the non-value rolls too. Red lobster roll is amazing! All the hot dishes are fantastic too. The chicken teriyaki is LEGIT! None of that chicken thighs soaking in liquid all day crap, this is seasoned and pan seared chicken cooked with onions and drizzled with teriyaki sauce. Amazing balance of flavor.Hibachi is very well cooked and seasoned as well. The hibachi sauce used is not overpowering and you can taste your meat of choice.Fried rice is actual fried rice not store bought. The house noodles have a good mix of indredients in them that tastes great. And both miso and onion soups are great (but lava hot so give it time to cool!).All of this amazingness is made even better by the owners. Incredibly nice people who just want you to enjoy your meal.I can not think of a better place to eat.
Great food, great price. I was referred to this place by a friend at work. I’m indebted. I tried the hibachi shrimp and salmon sushi and it rivaled the best I’ve ever had. I’ll be back.
Final Opinion. Now that I have frequented this place often, I can tell you it is one of my favorite places to eat. It may not be fancy, and they may not have a 3-5 page book of sushi rolls, but everything is made with love and care. Jason and his wife (I assume) are always there to greet you with a smile. If you’re a regular they’ll remember you, and your ordering habits. The prices on sushi are unrivaled anywhere in this city. I usually get their $15 sushi dinner deal that gives you a pick of 3 rolls (1 from 3 different categories), and a soup or drink. In their Fantastic Roll section the Red Lobster and Deep Fried Snapper rolls are my favorite. The Bagel and Tetsujin rolls from the premium roll category are out of this world… and then you have the $3 basic rolls. In this category the tuna avocado, and crunchy rolls are simple yet delicious. Sometimes I’ll just order 3 basic rolls… 3 rolls of sushi for under $10? You can’t beat it. Their hibachi portions are huge, the rice is good, and their steak is tender and succulent. The yaki noodles are very good as well and again, the portion is generous. I love sushi, but it can get expensive. Thanks to Tetsujin I can enjoy one of my favorite types of food on a regular basis. Friendly service, great prices, and delicious food makes this place one of the best in Mobile.02 Mar, 2014Premium Quality for Budget Price. I’m surprised this place even has a dislike. If I had to complain about this place, the only issue would be how small it is, and there are only 4-5 tables. The staff is very friendly. Every time I have been there I was asked by the sushi chef how my food was with legitimate interest in my opinion. They don’t have a wide variety of special rolls like most places, but the ones I have tried were very good. They also have a $3 sushi menu on standard rolls (cali, philly) you normally get charged $6+ for every where else in this city. Their Hibachi is top notch. Its superior to Japanese Express (taste and portion size) for the same price… with the quality you’d find at the high end locations like Bamboo and Mikato. The Sushi Platter for one was also very pleasing. Its a small location, no fountain drink, and a limited selection… but what they have is very very good.
Love this place! $3 rolls are super good & the fried rice is the bomb. We go here often.
Without doubt the friendliest place ever. That aside the food wasfresh, well made, artistic, and worth the wait. They are new and trying to get on their feet, so one forgives the take out dinner ware.
