Good food but issue with check totals. I work downtown and enjoy Caf 219. The food is good and the outside patio is great. Only issue I have encountered is that my bill is not calculated correctly. I’ve had this happen 3 times now and each time the items were the same but the totals were different. I know they charge for water which is acceptable but even when you add in that plus the 9% tax the totals they are writing on the check are off by $.10-$.25. There is a cash register up front, and I would think it would be just as easy to enter it in there to ensure you are getting the correct amounts. I would hate to think they are cheating people on purpose 🙁

I really like this place. Friendly staff, good menu, and fast fresh service. Only one hiccup, my order wasn’t quite as I requested, but it happens. It was still very good and I was still a happy customer. I ordered a cheese burger wrap and asked for no pickle, mustard, or catchup. She said I’ll just write mayo only. I said that’ll work! However, it didn’t. The kitchen made it with meat and mayo only. No cheese, or lettuce. It was a simple miscommunication, it could happen to anyone. I didn’t complain, I just ate it and it was very good. A little cheese would’ve been amazing lol. I also had the chicken and sausage gumbo. It was tasty, and from a Louisiana Man, that’s a compliment. I would call it more creole than Cajun. Overall I see why this place is rated high on here. I will come back if I ever have the chance.
