Hospital Food?. Atlanta Bread Company is a shining example of where Mobilians go to be fooled by unfortunate food. I shutter when people ask me to meet them here for lunch, as I have tried too many offensive menu items to even rehash them here. When I first tried ABC, I thought it was an extension of the hospital, which would explain the lowly quality. Alas, the bagels and salads are safe. My major problem with ABC is the quality of the bread, which one would think might be superior, since the place is, after all, named Atlanta BREAD Company. It is not exceptional and often stale. Here in Mobile, some say ABC king cakes are good. Dont be fooled! If you like dry, over-cooked king cakes for outrageous prices, by all means, have at it. I also find their soups particularly unpleasant, as many of them are overly salty and strangely mushy Im talking to you tortilla soup and potato soup. From now on, I will steer anyone asking me to lunch at ABC to instead try Panera.

Tomato Soup. Tomato with Fennel & Dill Soup! By far the BEST Ive ever had, and Ive attempted to recreate it many times at my home and it does not work.
Waldorf chicken salad. My husband and I enjoy the atmosphere there and the quality of the food.My favorite is the waldorf chicken salad. It is the best!
