Sunnyslopes tea. I usually get the sunnyslopes tea in a pot when I study here. I love sunnyslopes because it is very fruity in a tropical way. They do not give enough tea in one of those little mesh strainers so you only get two cups out of the pot. I would be better off getting a to-go cup of tea because they give you a lot more tea for the money. It’s hard to find a spot in this place because it is overrun by Springhill moms, prep school kids, and college students who beat you to the table first.
I’ve tried for 10+ years to like this place. I want to like it, but I just DON’T. I like that it’s local and it’s convenient to campuses, I just don’t like anything I’ve ever ordered. aregionalpairing.com
Almost a great coffee shop…. I love the atmosphere, the food is always great, the store has some neat items. The roaster does a great job and they always have recently-roasted quality beans available for purchase. However…unfortunately you have to settle for drip coffee if you want coffee. For a place that roasts their own coffe and sells chemex and presses, i wish they would actually allow you to choose how your want your coffee brewed. A simple addition, that would boost their credibility. I also wish they would spend a little time retraining their baristas on pulling shots and achieving smoother foam. Or maybe just taking a little more caution when doing so…it’s hit or miss.
Attitudinal service, lousy iced tea, and mediocre chicken salad in a charming, old house. Won’t be coming back.
Menu is overwhelming but everything has always been good. Very quaint atmosphere. Staff could use a little personality, though.
Coffee drinks are awesome!. The BEST Caramel Iced Coffee I have EVER had. WIN.
This place was a bit of a refuge for us during Mardi Gras. We had coffee and cookies and both were delicious. The staff was VERY fun and friendly despite working during a very hectic time. The one downside for our visit was no kids drink menu, which meant their hot cocoa ran nearly as much as our mochas. Places that don’t offer a kid’s cocoa or steamer for under $2 generally don’t get my repeat business.
