Amazing!!. Chef Sake’s has the best sushi in town! I love it and everytime I go it’s amazing. My favortie is the ROLL TIDE ROLL! By far the best sushi I have ever had. The service is amazing and the environement is peaceful.

As Always. Sake is one of a kind…enjoyed his cooking at Japanese Steakhouse….glad he opened his own place….very good sushi, and habachi…….a huge Roll Tide Fan……got pics to prove it…we moved 10 years ago, but visit him every time we are back in town. Highly recommend!
Ok ’til recently. I’ve eaten at Chef Sake’s weekly for the past several months and I used to love it. The service was great, the soup was great, edamame was delicious and the sushi was ok. But for the last month the service has been awful. There’s one waitress who is always there and she should not be a waitress. She acts like you’re wasting her time, won’t refill your drink, takes for ever to come take your order, forgets that you ordered an appetizer, and Will make you wait Forever for a freakin check. Also my friend and I don’t get the Philly role anymore because the last time we got it it was warm….not good. Neither of us felt good that afternoon. I used to love the edamame but the past 2 or 3 times I’ve ordered it it’s been under steamed and still tastes raw and hard. I vowed never to eat there again or at least not for a very long time maybe the chef will hire a new waitress and be more conscious of what he’s serving.
Pretty good as average sushi places go. nothing special, but decent rolls and service was acceptable
Chef Sake is great. I like Chef Sake, I liked him at the old restaurant and I’m happy to see him have his own place. The sushi was really good, some creative dishes. I’m not too wild about asparagus, he seems to like to through it into a lot of his rolls now. As long as I can get the rolls without the asparagus I will continue to be a loyal customer. Good sushi and a pretty good price. My wife likes to eat here weekly at lunch. Oh, and ROLL TIDE ROLL!!
Tuna Kabochi. Low Carb and yummy! One of my favorite things to eat in Mobile! Just a bowl full of goodness. Cubed tuna sashimi, avocado and cucumbers with sesame soy sauce.
