Chef Sake makes sure that his fish is fresh and delicious before serving to anyone. He has a lot of tempura and baked rolls, but you can still get the basic maki, nigiri, and sashimi. I ordered the sashimi app once and he hooked it up! Make sure you give him a Roll Tide, he’s a huge fan! Very personal guy and makes you feel like you’re in his home. Also, he closes during the afternoon, but he always lets us order take out anyway. All in all, this is definitely my go to sushi restaurant.
Nasty. I was on campus and needed a quick lunch to eat before my next class and noticed Chef Sake’s across the street. I went in and ordered a Hibachi lunch and MAN WAS IT NASTY!!! If I had not had to run to class to eat I would have returned the entire meal and demanded a refund. The sushi may be good I cannot say but DO not get the hibachi…you will most definitely be disappointed. The chicken was flavorless the rice also flavorless AND dry. The noodles in the lunch tasted so salty I could not even eat them. I waited a good 20-25 minutes to receive the WORST hibachi I have ever had.
