They have a great lunch buffet that I highly recommend. The dinner was disappointing and won’t return for that. This is a great way to sample their food and I have many favorites on their buffet. Clams, chicken with bok choy, eggplant and fried shrimp are consistently delicious. They really do have one of the best Hot and Sour soups in Mobile.
We have been going to China Doll for years. Christina is always cheerful and accommodating. I’m happy that Mobile has a place that serves up authentic Cantonese dishes on their lunch buffet: Eggplant in Garlic Sauce, Braised Beef Brisket with Turnip Stew, Clams in Black Bean Garlic Sauce, Gai Lan (Chinese broccoli) with oyster sauce, chives dumpling & stir fried long beans (just to list my favorites & items are rotated). Great place!! With more than one dining area, there’s never a long wait.
Great selection, fresh food. I don’t understand the negative reviews. I thought this place was very good. we went on a Saturday. food was flavorful and a very clean place.
Bring your money……..food is average Chinese buffet. Price is awful, horribly overpriced!! Lunch on Sunday will fetch $15 a head, plus your $2 iced tea. Rip off basically, there is a Chinese restaurant on every intersection in this town.
Just enjoyed a great buffet many items you don’t see on other Chinese buffets. The hot and sour soup is the best I have tasted in Mobile.
Great food…Buffett is your best bet, take-out isn’t the best value as far food for your money.
The BEST Chinese in Mobile! My husband and I have been trying Chinese restaurants all over the area and nowhere comes close to this place. The interior is warm and inviting, very clean and nice. Our waiter was great and very knowledgable about the menu items. The price is great for what you get, my husband and I shared an entree….enough for dinner with no leftovers. Very flavorful, not bland at all. I can’t wait to go back again 🙂
