A Unique Casual Local Joint. OK Bicycle is an interesting combination bar, eatery serving Mexican and sushi, a combination of several locals stops all tied together. Really enjoy the atmosphere with all the bicycles hanging fro the ceiling, servers are very nice, and very laid back. Everyone seems to know one another which makes it for a preferred local establishment. I started with tortilla chips and the chipotle salsa, which had a terrific heat to it, went very well with the forty four IPA. The list of beers is large, from the usual domestics, to micro brews, and imports, to everyone’s liking, on tap or in bottle. My entree was the chicken flautas, two ea, it’s ground chicken, and the tortilla is flaky and light. Topped with a green chili sauce. Ok Bicycle is easy to get to, but being that this was a week night, parking was pretty easy, but on the weekends it would be another matter. Be aware that parking is on the street.
Wait staff and bartender playing with dog :-/. Our waitress was wonderful and the food good. I was not impressed by the lap dog sitting with a lady at the bar. The bartender and waitstaff were touching it . The lady was holding it in the air above her head and making kissy noises to it.So we headed home after eating to give my child that is allergic to dogs and cats another allergy pill. Wanted duck nachos not dog hair nachos. Find it strange she was allowed to walk around with the dog in her arms while other customers were eating :-/ maybe dogs are allowed inside I am not sure of their policy.
A favorite of my wife and I. We always take out of town guests here and they request going back when they visit again. Food is always great (mexi and sushi). Servers are always friendly and helpful. Great beer selection. Fun patio/courtyard. As a foodie and a beer fan, I’ve never had a bad experience here. If you are looking for a fun, causal spot for great mexican food (try tacos, flautas, chips and fundito, quesidillas) or sushi, then Bike Shop is a place to try.
Slow. Super slow getting sushi- like 45 min. wait. Wasn’t very tasty. Beer was flat. Won’t be trying this again
The food is great and the presentation is lovely. The chorizo and potato quesedia was so good i ordered another one to go, but I ate it there. Absolute YUM!
Fun place, good food. This place has a fun, hipster kind of vibe. We have eaten here twice while in the area. Their guacamole is super fresh and tasty. The tacos are good, and they have some interesting sushi rolls.
Delicious food, great service.. The Bike Shop has me hooked on the lengua. I go back at least once a week and get a few. The service is always outstanding and drinks are reasonably priced.
