The best hummus! I love food pak and their homemade hummus! It is so rich, savory, and full of divine garlic. Just make sure whoever you are with is eating it, too! You will reek! But it’s all good! And delicious!
Easy to overlook, but you shouldn’t. What an unassuming little place just off Old Shell! If you aren’t aware of what lies behind the meh exterior, you’re missing out. I know I was. One of my students brought their fresh-made hummus to class this semester, and I HAD to have some for myself, so I made a trip there today. I was absolutely blown away at the wide selection, the fresh spices from around the world, specialty peppers that are hard to find here, and the warm and friendly staff. This hummus is out of this world good, and I’ve tried them all down here. I’ll be going back again and again.
Best hummus and gyro around! Staff is always friendly and they always help me with my hard to find ingredients. Love going there for lunch inbetween classes!
It’ll do in a pinch. I’m not fond of the spicy tzatziki sauce. Too many spices. I’d prefer a mellowed version with traditional sauce on my gyro. There is a great selection of grocery items. The hummus is just so-so, nothing to write home about. The staff are very friendly. The gyro meat is awesome! We order the meat and make the gyros at home.

Need spices? need weird beer? food pak is your go-to place!their gyros is pretty decent, although i prefer real lamb not that beef/lamb sliced stuff american like to eat. they have an eclective selections of foodstuffs – english, german, and all sorts of other countries’.i love dolmas (stuffed grapeleaves) and their big cans are soooo worth the $!
