Best in Mobile!. We have searched high and low for a good sushi place in Mobile. The price here is absolutely great! Most rolls run 6 to 8 dollars. Serve staff is very friendly. The atmosphere here is very homey and cozy. And the food here is awesome! We had the escargot for an app as well as the philly, crayfish tempura, gator, bama, and super eel roll. Everything was fantastic and we plan on eating here again and again in the future.
Good food, but not worth the inevitable wait.
Love this place!. Enjoyed lunch here with a friend last Saturday. Ordered a sushi roll to share and we each got a bento. I’ll admit after seeing how so many people talked about slow service I was a little wary, but thought the food was brought out at a very reasonable pace. The sushi was delicious and fresh and the bento was quite plentiful. The ladies who work there are very nice and friendly, and even treated us to a banana tempura dessert which I’ll order for sure the next time I go. If I had to complain about anything the parking lot is quite tight, but it’s not enough to deter me from revisiting. Looking forward to many delicious meals here in the future!
BEST SUSHI IN MOBILE. Yes, the service can be a little on the slow side…. however, the women that run the place are the sweetest if you have patience!!! And it’s worth the wait!!! BEST Philly roll I’ve ever eaten and the sunset roll too!!! Fried banana is the perfect ending to the meal.
The BEST in ALABAMA. This restaurant is one of the best-tasting, made-to-order Japanese and Thai restaurants.I don’t know who posted that they took Konnittiwa’s recipes, but I can assure you this is not the case. I have eaten at Konnittiwa and will never-ever return. I don’t know why one restaurant feels the need to try to bash another in Mobile. I suppose it’s a low-level mentality of someone who has nothing better to do with their life than try to steal one company’s revenue. Konnittiwa doesn’t have the same menu, and when I visited, I certainly didn’t see any Thai menu there. Get a life, seriously.If you haven’t had their ORIGINAL MARGI GRAS ROLL, YOU SHOULD! It’s to DIE for. I bet the Konnittiwa doesn’t have it (unless they stole it. lol) but it is a burst of flavor that accurately represents the flavor and colors of Mardi Gras. mmmmmm If you haven’t had any Thai food, I love their Pad Thai. The owner is an excellent cook. Many years before she opened Fuji San, she owned 5 successful french restaurants, for more than 20 years. So, I suppose, long before Konnittiwa ever came into existence. I will never ever eat there again, simply because they wrote a negative review on another restaurant.Fuji San has a really good menu. I hope they add French food, like they had downtown. Yum! I JUST moved out of state and so far, have not found ANYTHING as near as good as Fuji San!
I would like to tell the world that this lady worked at Konnitiwa sushi and stole all the recipes. Little does she know the recipes weren’t accurate and they are little bit different. The lady who open this restaurant wouldn’t know anything about sushi if it wasn’t for Konnitiwa. So forget about the people who stab company’s in the back and you should come try the origanal best sushi in mobile at Konnitiwa. Our menu at Konnitiwa is the same. So anyone who gives praise to this sushi is mislead. Come try the origanl great sushi at Konnitiwa.
Service was quick and friendly for lunch. Tuna tataki, super eel roll and tempura banana were great! I’ll go back again soon
