  Crazy goooooooood omgosh. Everything is home-made from scratch, and made fresh daily. Ive never had anything i didn’t like. the service is fast and friendly. They know regulars by name and order, place is refreshingly clean, everything is low priced cheap and high quality goodness i don’t understand all the awful reviews, maybe you guys just don’t eat out often, this place is family owned, mr brandon has taken care of the community and his neighbors he is a good doer, i don’t know why people accuse of him of such hurtful intents. also to the people who had bad experiences ya ll don’t deserve hickory pit with them attitudes and manners you aint get from your momma, make the drive out of town for food, while others make the drive here from out of town for the famous fried chicken, juicy meaty spare ribs, fresh salads, and darn good country sides and daily 6.99 specials

  I would not recommend this place. The food tastes cheap and burnt. The prices are not worth what you get.

  Good ole country eaten!!!. The hamburgers are great. Everything I’ve had like fried chicken fried seafood and their veggie dishes are great. Really good FF’s (homemade). Wish they had homemade biscuits on their breakfast menu. That is my only complaint though. Nice people work there as well.

  Hickory Pit Too. We have ate there before the new menu change and liked it very much.Since the menu change I ate there once everything we ordered we too greasy.Myself I got the cheese burger and fries……not good the both had the same taste… Grease…… My mother got the veggie plate and she said that all her veggies tasted like grease too…..did not like it at all and trust me I paid too much for it ….I do believe that the prices have changed too not for the better either….

  Not Impressed. I’ve been twice and was not impressed either time. The restaurant has a smoking area but it’s too small for it to really be separated from the non-smoking area, so the whole place smells like smoke. When I went for breakfast, the biscuits were pretty good but the gravy pretty much just tasted like fat and flour. The BBQ was okay but there are a lot of places around here that are just as good. They had a decent enough crowd both times I went, so maybe I’m just ordering the wrong things.
