Jerk Chicken Dinner Plate. Loved it!!!
I lived in Jamaica around 1975 and even though at around 16 I thought I would die when we moved there and I was torn from my friends but I learned to love the people and the food. Patties are the Jamaican equivalent of McDonald or Burger King there and patties are a big staple. It brought back great memories to taste patties again. Priced reasonably, if you want something different and you like reasonably spicy food, this is something to try. The curried goat was tender, the jerk chicken was great. Me and my wife went and we got one plate each and shared along with a patty for each. I had to buy two patties when I left to take home and will be going back for more. Sure, it’s not an average restaurant with a server coming to your table regularly but they are right there. About 10 tables allows you to talk to them and ask for anything. Very friendly owners that will talk to you and tell you about a great vacation spot. Stop by and buy a couple patties if nothing else for lunch, $2 each.
The best!. The best Jamaican around!! A must try!
The food is amazing, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is excellent!! I’ve eaten there 3 times this week!
Just not enough food!. I had the oxtails they were great! It just wasnt enough Im not greedy but they should give you more because some were small (oxtails). The service great.
It’s all good. Every time I walk in I’m greeted with a smiling face, and the owner’s eager to please. Brown stew, curry chicken, or jerk chicken – they’re all great, with a distinct flavor and spice. The best part, though – the beef patties. Addiction, thy name is beef patty.
Very nice staff, and great, delicious food! The Jerk Chicken was spicy, sweet and tender. The meal came with fresh, well-spiced veggies and peas & rice. Good lemonade as well.
