1st time and we loved it!! Absolutely the best Mexican food we have had! We ordered the fajitas and they were amazing! Plenty of food as well. We had enough to take home for lunch the next day. We will definitely go back! They are very busy we got there at 5 and we’re seated pretty quickly. Any later you would definitely have a wait. It is a small restaurant but definitely worth waiting.
Like the majority of reviews this is THE only place to eat Mexican / Tex-Mex in Mobile. I have personally not experienced better. I lived in Atlanta for 22 yrs. so I kinda know Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine. It is a very small space, so there is usually a wait. Never too long though. I don’t mind the hole in the wall atmosphere though as long as the service and food are good. I usually order the burrito Tapatio. My personal favorite. Everything is good though. And portions are huge. Salsa and chips always fresh. Prices are reasonable, wait staff on the ball and friendly. Food is great.
Best Mexican food in town hands down. I go here often and have never had anything that wasn’t amazing. My favorite would have to be the burrito La Cocina. (Once your seated) food normally comes out hot and very fast. Portions sizes on most things are large, more than you’ll eat in one sitting. They also have a lot of authentic Mexican meals. They only negatives of this place is the building its in, it’s VERY small so there is a guaranteed wait during busy restaurant times, and it’s horribly outdated, looks like a run down fast food place. It could use a good cleaning and remodel. But the food is that good that none of that should detour you from trying. Truly amazing.
