M’eh: Good food, HORRIBLE service. Tried this place because my wife had a BOGO for it. Food was fine – we liked the sushi but the service was horrible. They had a big party’s order ahead fo us and were told it would be 20 minutes before ours would be ready – it took 41 minutes to get our entree. Waiter NEVER offered to bring me another beer when mine was sitting there empty ever since our apps came out. Wife’s drink remained empty – water never came to check on us. Meanwhile, we sat there and watched two employees talk about how much they hate their jobs while simultaneously doing ZERO work. Good food, HORRIBLE service.
Worst Experience Ever. My boyfriend and I went here this past weekend. He lives in Pensacola. I wanted him to experience Downtown Mobile. I have been here before but I won’t return because of the terrible service and food. Our Waitress (who was also the hostess) asked what we wanted to drink.. I asked what kind of white wines were served and she got someone else to try and tell me that it was Oak something. It was Woodbridge.. which I am familiar with. After we finished our drinks and waited for our Sushi.. we noticed that several plates were sitting for the waitress to take to tables. THIS IS RAW FOOD HERE SITTING!! Our Sushi Roll came 25 minutes later.. it was wrong .. and the Chef argued that it was correct. We left and will never come back.. Bad Attitudes, Bad Service, and most of all a Staff that clearly could care less
I only feel good about going here with a few drinks under my belt. Otherwise, go home and eat Ramen.
Prime Location for Sushi. The layout is narrow, but the wall is one long bench filled with cushy pillows, making it very soothing. The sushi is a bit pricey, but very thorough. They always have a cool band playing (or used to anyway).
New menu options. I enjoy the sushi here and the new menu items are very interesting (although I normally stick with my traditional rolls). I like the fact you can order sushi from the bar at The Bicycle Shop next door.
Food lover. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the lounge, the service was great and the sushi was fresh and delicious. Clay prepared our sushi, which was the shrimp tempura.
Its good but not worth all the hype. I had a good time . The ambiance was great. The food was not all that amazing for all the hype that i have heard. It wasnt bad , I have just had better sushi at other places.
