LoDa Bier Garten is my go to bar downtown. Although pricey the beer selection is outstanding. Their bartenders and waitresses are always helpful with recommending the perfect drink for your visit. No matter your taste. Their food is good too. The one item on their menu you MUST try at your next visit is definitely their pepper jack pretzel with Abita beer cheese. It is to die for. Best gourmet pretzel in town. If you want to experience a great time and pair it with a great beer and midnight snack check out LoDa Bier Garten. Always a great experience!
My favorite Mobile restaurant. Always amazing food. Great beer selection, and great music. I can’t recommend it enough for people looking for great local mobile restaurants.
We went for lunch on a Saturday it was crowded and busy.Food took about 30 minutes but well worth it. Mac Attack burger was great can’t wait to try the rest of them
Went on a Tuesday night and it was packed. Waited a few minutes before we were able to grab an available table. Waitress was courteous and attentive but the food took almost an hour before it was on our table. They brought our friend the wrong sandwich and he had to send it back. My turkey burger was moist and tasty. Onion rings were really good, large crispy rings. My husband enjoyed his burger and fries. Good food but not memorable enough to return to this bar/restaurant when I’m in the downtown area.
Good beer, nearby to good food.. They have beer you can’t easily find elsewhere in Mobile. And on sunday, all drafts are half off. But the food; and the service, for that matter, leaves more to be desired. Much more. Service is slow, often times takes 10 minutes from the time you finish one beer just to order another. They laughed at my friend for ordering a well done burger. The food, oh where to start? They have some very interesting sounding burgers on the menu that completely fail to deliver on taste. They’re afraid of salt, every burger I’ve ever had here is bland. They lack fundamental seasoning- and for people that mock the idea of cooking any beef to well done, they sure did a good job of doing just that to a burger I ordered medium. We continue to come for the beer specials, but the food continues to disappoint
Rude rude rude. I walked into this restaurant with a good friend and sat down at an empty bar stool at the bar. An employee from behind the bar said I could not sit there because it was a service area. I asked why there would be a seat in in a spot where a customer can’t sit. The employee came from behind the bar and took my seat out from under me while I was still seated. I have never been treated so rudely in my life…… Unacceptable…
Love this place. Was in Mobile this past weekend, in from Cleveland Ohio. Great bar, great people, great staff. Huge TVs and good music. Couldn’t ask for more in a beer joint.
