Go-to drink or food spot. This particular Mellow Mushroom has a great staff. They are courteous and get your order right! The beer selection is great, and the pizza is THE best in Mobile. Mellow has a nice outdoor dining area as well as a fair amount of seating inside. Also, the sandwiches are ridiculous. Go there now!
I love this mellow, always fast and friendly service. Make my weird requests perfect everytime. Added bonus right next to campus
Food is always great, service is pretty much always terrible. Both locations in Mobile have a terrible wait staff. In midtown, don’t bother going after 8pm because they will literally start putting chairs up and mopping while you eat if it isn’t busy. Old shell location wait staff expects you to be ready to order aprox 30 seconds after you have sat down. My solution: call in for takeout!
Best pizzas, salads of any pizza store! Slower than other shops, but well worth the wait. Calzones are awesome.
A must try. Went for dinner with my son and his girlfriend. our waiter (steve) was really awesome. he was full of smiles and jokes.he was always there before we needed to call for refills or anything else. I got a spinich and pepperoni calzone which was amazing. my son and his girlfriend got a pizza topped with all kinds of meat. they loved it!! I didnt taste the pizza but it looked good smelled good and they didnt come up for air till they were full. I would totally recommend this place good music good food and good staff. this is so much better then the one at the loop
Mmmmm. Pizza’s great. Come while you aren’t very hungry, though. You’ll be hungry by the time your food comes. Don’t fuss too much! It’s well worth the wait.
