Tried Pho 88 for the first time today after receiving a recommendation from a friend. The pho was excellent – I had beef flank and tripe. The tripe and flank were both tender. There were plenty of noodles. The broth was so flavorful that I wanted to take what was left home. (I didn’t – I have some pride.) I can’t wait to go back again.
I’m not an expert on pho but I thought this was pretty good. And DIRT cheap. 3 big spring rolls for $2.95. They were delicious-crunchy and fresh. I had #2 pho also. The broth and condiments were great. The meat was a little sketch, especially the meatballs. Kinda gross but edible. The steak was better but tough. My bill was $9. And I had leftovers-twice. Overall it was good and I would eat there again if I was nearby.
