I have been to Serda’s Mobile a few times (yum snadwiches!) and to the Daphne location more than a few times. In Daphne, they had a wonderful chef who made the most amazing fresh, hot food. My friends and I would go every third week or so to meet and eat. I usually got a bowl and the others usually had salads – always reliably good. We’ve been away for over four months and met friends there the other day, I had a bowl and they had salads. The quinoa in my bowl was soupy. Hum, I’ve never had a soupy bowl there before. Others at the table picked out the rotten lettuce from their salads. We were all surprised at the changes. Today, we went back to meet other friends. I ordered a sandwich – it just wasn’t good. Issues with lettuce being bad and with the chicken having been precooked and cold kind of spoiled it for me. Another person had a bowl with spinach. Not good – the bottom of the bowl was filled with water, well, I’d estimate about 1/4 c. of water was in there. I noticed the chef I used to see there was gone and another person was putting up food but don’t know if that would account for the drop in the quality of the food. So sad. I give the Daphne location of Serda’s a rating of 3 because of the good meals we’ve had previously.

Just gross.. This is the worst-run place Ive ever been to. They’re trying to do so much that they’re doing a half ass job of all of it. Salads, sandwiches, gelato, a full on bar, coffee, pastries, soda. it’s such an unpleasant atmosphere. The seating is the same kind as McDonald’s. So are the tables. Honestly I never would of imagined this was a local cafe, I thought it was a chain.
