  Won’t be returning. I’ve been to this location a few times and enjoyed the food but the restaurant has change a lot. Prices have gone up, menu is different, and the amount of food has gone down. First off the lady that greeted us at the door stared at me for a while and then finally asked: are you getting it to go or are you dining in? SMH After seating us she took our drink orders and I said sweet tea WITH lemon. It still came without it then I asked: can I please get some lemon. I still didn’t get it till my husband told the lady towards the end of our meal that she wanted lemons and I finally got some even though I didn’t need them. We were told that they were out of oysters and if you wanted to get a basket with oysters and shrimp there would be no substitutions. Even though they should let you get something else since THEY were out of oysters. I asked for ranch dressing with my meal, it still didn’t come with it and I didn’t get it till the end of our meal. Sigh…..we won’t be back.

  Food is usually very good, I have been here many times. Service is always fast and friendly. HOWEVER, do not ever get the shrimp skewers dish. They tasted ok but the shrimp were tiny, like the size you would find in gumbo. Served over an enormous pile of rice with no taste. Thankfully there was garlic bread so I wasn’t starving after paying $14 for 14 iddy biddy shrimps 🙁

  MRS. FRANK MCDEVITT. Really enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant….the time we went ,near 1 pm, still had lunchrush being taken care of. the waitress was very pleasant. sorry, I cannotremember her name, but she told us how to get on here and write a review. everyone was very professional.

  First time visit. My visit to this location was on a Sunday for my husbands birthday. They were struggling. It was like at 1230 they were still trying to get open. There was even a floor mat still rolled up and laying in the foyer chairs. I told the hostess because she didnt seem to notice all the people standing instead of sitting in the chairs. While we were waiting you could see and hear the frustration from the tables close to the foyer about the wait on their server to get drinks and orders. The wait wasnt an issue but the fact that a party came in 4 parties after me and was seated in from on me was. This man was pushy and obviously felt he didnt deserve to wait in line. The hostess sat him in front of me. Once we got our table our server was quick to get us going. Food was fine, Potatoes were cold. Would return. Maybe they were just having a bad day or need a new hostess.

  Take-outside now, fries cold, crab claws were thin and heavy on the spice, fish dinner basket had 3 small pieces of whitefish (about 1/2 of what was before); shrimp spiced to the heavy – NO shrimp taste just hot spice; after eating here for 1+ years —- this was totally different in spice and amt of food served time to find a new place

  NOPE. How can one do spagetti marinara wrong? it was AWFUL. couldn’t eat it.had the crab cake appetiser which was ok.nothing special. IF i am forced to go back because friends want me to come along i’ll stick with the crabcakes. the rest of the table’s foods weren’t particularly appetizing. i tried a few bites from others’ foods. nope.we were a group of approximately a dozen people and one small child.not sure why it is so popular considering there are numerous good restaurants on old shell road.
